Working on an early shift it was Martin's turn to drive, we had the weekend before got a rescue dog and hadn't really been outside. At 5:30 a quiet knock at the door and Martin opened the door as normal, not knowing the dog was waiting on the other side. Off the dog went, both panicing and trying to grab the dog without success. The dog was off running down the road towards the main road, all I could think waz our new dog was going to be run over, we got in the car and set off after the dog. Screaming round Rushden streets chasing down a dog was just like being in the Sweeny, car stopping across pavements and doors being flung open, all this just to get my dog. Finally after what seemed like ages, we finally got him and took him home, got to work on time as well. So funny when I think about it and there are a few more stories lile that as well.
